SHE WON!!!

Thank you Jennifer Jones and crew! I am now the recipient of one thousand dollars towards Wrapped in Love. Jennifer and I will be spending some fun time together this weekend to decide how to best use these funds. I am so grateful for her dedication, love, and support.

About Wrapped in Love

I came up with the idea for Wrapped in Love earlier this year as I contemplated what our family had just been through losing our sweet TJ. I wanted to do something to help others and in remembrance of his life. Wrapped in Love's purpose is to provide burial items to families who have had a pregnancy loss. The majority of items needed are for families with losses at less than 34 weeks, so we need premie and micro-premie (1-3 lbs.) items. Our mission is to comfort those in need of comfort by removing the need for them to have to plan what to bury their babies in, which can be a very painful decision. In speaking with Angel Watch in Salt Lake City, many of the families we will be serving do not have the means to provide burial items for their babies, in addition to their inability to bury their sweet babies, forcing them to be cremated, all because of a lack of funds. We hope to ease their burden and allow their last vision of their baby to be one of them being Wrapped in Love in beautiful blankets and burial clothing. We hope you will join us in our efforts as we hope to comfort those who must say goodbye not only to their baby but also to all the hopes and dreams they had for their baby and their family, many times without warning.

Burial gown patterns

The following website provides patterns for burial gowns from the smallest 1-3 lbs. to normal newborn sizes.
These patterns range from knitted and crochet patterns to sewing patterns. There are photos for some of the patterns, and please understand that the pouches are necessitated by the extremely small size of some of these angels that are too delicate or too small to fit into any type of burial outfit.
I hope this gives some guidance for those who wish to make these outfits.
